I just got a Blackberry Q10, and not as impressed as I though I would be. Basically you use real keys for typing which I still like to do, but just swiping the phones screen to get it on can take several attempts. God forbid you need to use it for an emergency. The display is much nicer, but tough to get used to coming from an older version of Blackberry.

Jesus christ, why would I ever want a smartphone if it is such an OBVIOUS time waster and life resource eater as mentioned above.

I'm still rocking the only non smart flip phone they allow you to buy when you renew your contract. Outside of that, I use a dumb fucking ipad for most of my work.

Outside of that I use a normal fucking laptop for the rest of it.

It is important for some people to be online as much as possible. Also some people love their work. It is nice to chill at the beach instead of at the house and do some emailing for example.
So don't judge everybody based on your work and on your character.

PS: I also usually carry only regular mobile phone. Sometimes (when waiting for important email) I take smartie with me.

I've bought an s4 and it was so slow compared to my iphone 5 and 5s. The response time is just too slow. For me a galaxy s5 is far too large. I don't like windows phones, they are too restricted.. I know I know, iphone, but I am used to it now.. also the android system is very different from the ios, it has a very different logic behind it.
So I would sleep on it a little bit, or just borrow an android to see if you like it.

Well if the battery life is what you hate about it, I'm going to go ahead and recommend one of the Nokia Lumia Windows phones if you're super integrated into Windows shit with a PC or whatever. Cortana is fucking cool.

For a stupid long battery (if you don't mind the size), just grab a Galaxy Note. My battery goes on 2 days with regular use (meaning I don't play the fucking games). Also, I believe it has like a 13.1 megapixel camera or something ridiculous like that.

Previous smartphones: Sony Xperia, HTC One, some sort of shit Blackberry, iPhone. So far, none have matched up to Galaxy for me, whether it be just S-series or the Notes.

If you look at millions of phones purchased, and only 9 of them have reported bent cases -- it has to be attributed to users with fat asses and tight jeans.

regular use few calls\messages.. total of 3-5 hours of wifi
2-3 days without recharging. battery is stock battery

I fixed her here in Bangkok for like $40.00 -good as new and added an indestructible case which actually keeps the phone at same size and changes the color tho blue. I am good until Bov 1st when i get back to the states.

The note sounds good, and yes my my main concern is battery life.
