I never had any issues with Paul. We often disagreed on things but he never got disrespectful with me, nor I with him.I think he let himself take all the trolling too seriously though, and he got too caught up in it.

He may have started taking himself too seriously as well there for a while.

I wouldn't mind seeing him back here. He never bothered me.

As much as i think Paul is a complete dipshit, one thing that NO ONE here has ever done here is to look at the mathematics or do a competent analysts of the traffic and user impact of banning certain personalities. It's never done with either business logic or care... but always an emotional response.

It's largely the dipshits that made this place alive. It was always a failed idea to try to make this place increasingly about business when its called "go fuck yourself" and full of people socializing and fucking off and killing time. Thats like saying you're going to turn your successful dive bar called Cockroaches and Homeless People into a successful French restaurant without an identity change and major makeover. It can't happen. This place is only GFY because of the dipshits. It was never a place for business, it was always a zoo where business was occasionally done and it will never be successful as a place for business. Just as no other industry forum has seen any real sustained success which endured over time. This one only stood a chance because it was entertaining and a great distraction.

Banning all the DarkJedi's, DirtyFranks, PaulMarkham's, PimpDogg's etc has never done anything but slow the board down to a crawl, dramatically decrease total activity, decrease advertising value, decrease the entertainment value and make it increasingly boring and lifeless.

It wasn't too many years ago that a thread would get started and could be off the main page in an hour or so, today, its the same threads on the main page for a week.... Winning?

My thoughts exactly about this place. I've always gone to the board that's had the most activity and fun - to me nutjobs are entertaining, nutjobs involved in drama even moreso, business did get done off this board back in the day because whether you were an affiliate program, content seller, programmer, model you had to come here because it had the biggest audience. There is NO business here for most of us here these days, the only reason to come here is to spew and read bullshit - of course there are some interesting threads on current events and occassionally even on the adult industry.

I laugh when the owners of GFY try to put lipstick on this pig and do things like 'The GFY Educational Series'. All I can think of is the old 3 Stooges movies where Curly, Larry and Moe would somehow end up mistaken for or impersonating brain surgeons in a hospital or the rich business tycoons at some extravagant charity ball.
