    Does your wife/GF have a hobby?

    Aside from spending money, playing stupid cellphone games or wasting all day on social media does your wife/gf actually have a hobby?

    I'm starting to think social media has ruined an entire generation of woman and they are only getting worse. I can't believe how many boring and uninteresting women are out there these days..

                  I'd hardly say social media has made her boring or uninteresting, so maybe your experience comes from who you choose to associate with.

                      Not sure your age, I'm 32, I have been commenting for years that most of the men in my generation know how to cook and many women do not.

                      Almost every guy I know in my age bracket is at least a halfway decent cook. Can make a few things pretty good. Women… another story.

                                      My wife started a hobby about eight or nine years ago. She was working as a "volunteer" for a local group. The more she got into it the better she got at it, and the more time and effort she put into it. I kept telling her she needed to turn this into a business. We were looking into it when a local business approached us asking if we would be interested in buying them out. We got a small loan, made our money back in two years, and now we (meaning my wife really) has a bricks and mortar business.

                                          Panting, drawing and jewelry making.

                                          When she was younger, and thinner, made her on CD of nude shots and sold them online.

                                          We sometimes go out and do photo shots for the music video we'd like to do. She knows she's no longer 102# or 30 so she knows she'll have to choose the person playing her.

                                          Her other hobby is dancing. We once drove 60 miles (each way), to dance to porn star, turned Blues singer Candye Kane.

I've decided to try at least one new thing every year. 2015 is the year of painting. Ok, it's a paint by numbers, but it looks pretty awesome and is a nice meditation activity. Maybe give her a Christmas present of an art class or something? Something she wouldn't normally pick, but could turn into an interest?

                                                                                                                                      Well that's kinda me at this point.. As kid and teen I was always doing outdoor stuff and artwork. As an adult I lost the artwork but I still do lots of outdoors stuff.

                                                                                                                                      I'm out here in Co hiking mountains, mountain biking, trying to learn the gutair (just started that) I travel a lot.. I've been trying to get back into the artwork, but I can never get the right mindset to stay with it..

                                                                                                                                      However, when I meet woman these days.. So many just do nothing. I mean yea maybe they go to the gym and work out or stuff like that, but that's not a hobby. That's just staying in shape.
