It just escapes you that there would be no shooting at all if the cop had simply said "freeze, don't move" instead of yelling "GET OUT OF THE CAR".

He should be fired for sure. Obviously he isn't fit for the job.

It's real simple : You don't care that somebody got shot, other people do and want something done about it.

Yeah this guy is innocent, just like Michael Brown was an upstanding citizen who never was in a robbery, or fought with a police officer before being shot. Innocent all around. Cops are the real enemies here. :upsidedow

I do care that someone was shot. I just feel like most people here that are calling cops "pigs" just hate all cops no matter what the case is and they would vote guilty without even looking at the situation.

No worries. As someone who's been in trouble with the law many times, I have always cooperated with the police and have always had good outcomes. Hell I'm in the process of talking with the police right now for a drunken night I did something stupid. Because of cooperating and being good, they're helping me out even though they don't need to.

But that's alright. All cops are pigs according to people who read bullshit stories on the internet.

Sometimes people think others are haters in the same way that a lot of mothers think their daughters hate their seemingly terrible boyfriends. Because the only time the girl talks about her man to her mom is when she's pissed off at him. Naturally Mom thinks he's dead evil to the core with no redeeming qualities.

Similarly, show me a video of a dumb cop and I'm probably not going to talk about the times when I had great police help or leniency I didn't expect or maybe didn't even deserve. More likely I'm going to just be one pissed off mother.

or while a few decent cops is great.. why is 'doing your job' worthy of note? furthermore, if my concern now is 'twitching wrong' or i get shot and/or electrocuted, 'decent cops' really becomes mute.
