I used to be able to view flash on android by manually installing it, but something recently broke it again.

Android does not support flash anymore. Html5 is the future. Well, actually it's the present already.
You can install flash manually on some devices.

you can try installing ADOBE flash player which is not available on Google play anymore but you can find on the adobe site... here are directions:
