Good for you , I was not talking about their smoke , I was talking about how they smell after smoking . The same way I smelled when I smoked . They don't notice it just like I didn't when I smoked . So climb down of that horse there partner .:thumbsup

I give you credit for that. I discriminate against smokers at both work and play.

Horse? If you're gonna complain about the smell of smokers then you should not be telling others to not complain about your complaining. Again though, if I'm next to someone who stinks, smokes, whistles, squirms, makes clucking noises, etc., I move.

Smoked 35 years - quit last November and switched to vaping.

Haven't had a single cig since the day I bought the vape kit.

Feels much better now. The cough is gone. Chest has cleared up and I find I have more endurance on the mountain bike and hiking trails.

Oh lord, I know - I turned to my husband not long after we quit and we were near a smoker - and I asked him if I ever smelled like that and he sheepishly said yes, because I know he didn't want to hurt my feelings - but wow!! I was so embarrassed!

Oh don't get me wrong - interior thoughts are there, they just don't come out of my mouth. lol

I remember how I felt when people did it to me and how many people I told to get up and go the hell away when I was seated first and they landed their asses in a smoking section when they didn't smoke - that used to make me crazy - but now, I just asked to be seated in a no smoking section - BUT most places are smoke free these days, so we don't have the same issues as other people who quit used to. I try and be mindful as long as others are, but let them get nasty or rude with me and it's not so quiet. lmao

anyone who spends an hour in a club or bar smells like that.

Keep up the good work! I know a lot of friends (8 out of 10) that eventually give in and start smoking again. If you can do 4+ years you can do 10+ etc. :2 cents: :thumbsup

Ive quit a lot of things my nigga. But these cigs got me in a choke hold right now. Im not the typical smoker tho. Ive quit once before a long ass time ago when I was 18 after smokin for like 6 months. Shit was just wack to me. Then I didn't hit another cig till I was 30, I used them to help me quit 3 other things cold turkey. I figured if I can swap 3 addictions for 1, I'd be aight... and I thought I'd be able to drop these shits like I did before, nah mean? But now a year later I hate these shits but I keep tokin. Im smokin one right now and I hate it. But I aint tryin to start another addiction to help me stop this last one I have left. Bout to go the ecig route.

One word of advice, when you decide to go the ecig route - don't go get a bunch of tobacco flavored juices for them, get something you enjoy - fruits - or anything else - if you try the tobacco flavors and expect it to taste like a real cigarette, it isn't going to. I tried that route a few times before I was successful and this is the best way I made it thru. There are so many flavors out there now and it won't give you the idea in your head that this is going to be a real cigarette - s it'll be easier on you.

My husband has gone three years without smoking using Ecigs. I try to get him to quit them all together but he really LOVES the Apple Pie flavor.

Start by taking the nicotine out of them - mix your own, that's what I did - I bought all of the flavors and the vegetable glycerin and so on and mixed my own and didn't mix in the harmful things like nicotine - and once you get his body off that addiction - then start on the habit part of it.

I don't know about him, but I had nosebleeds and congestion pretty bad with them - it was the same thing as when my son was on those vaporizers for his asthma and the mist would make me so sick and congested - same damn thing - so I had to get off those as well.

We kept suckers around for the fidget of it for awhile until we got that fidget habit thing out of our heads - lol

It was a process for sure - but it all in all only took about 5 weeks until we were done with addictions and vices.

Try vitamin B100 after you eat lunch. It will get you thru the anxiety and help take sugar out of your system so you won't feel that afternoon drag, which some ex smokers relate to not getting their fix, but it's really excessive sugar in your system.
