    For Slander/libel according to couirt docs she is asking 50K in damages

                              Anyways, does anybody here really think after 2500 scenes Max didn't get a model release?

                              I shouldn't be commenting on pending litigation but she done fucked up bringing this law suit. I hope she's saving her pennies.

                              Trying to extort money like this could be very costly not to mention the amount of work she'll lose when all the studio's out there see what they're up against by hiring her.

                              Oh and by the way the model release has already been submitted to the courts. Her council's response was to ask for a postponement.

                                          The articles info I have found since including the court record have no mention of any filings at all by Max. It certainly seemed odd to me that Max wouldnt get a release but apparently she had enough to get an injunction. I realize ya cant comment on a pending case Im sure yu recognize that the implications for the biz could be huge, and though this was kept pretty quiet for a while (im told xbiz killed a story on it) it could have huge implications for content producers.

                                              I wouldn't sweat it Mike. With all the ridiculous bullshit in her claim she's lucky the courts are even listening to her at all.

                                              Edit: They give injunctions based on one sides complaint.

Girl's regret doing porn all the time. Seems sort of hard to claim the shoot caused her distress if she kept shooting afterwards for others...

I worked with him in the 90s and was actually involved in a similar case of Max Scene Remorse where I had been the performer in the Max production. Case was thrown out as soon as they saw her on tape talking about how much she enjoyed her self. Max doesn't just cover paperwork before they shoot, he shoots coverage of everything so he has a record of anything and everything that goes down. I know because I worked for him when he instituted the policy to protect his ass.

                                                                                                  The real story is how did this model convince an attorney to even assert this claim in the first place.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Had a great deal of conversations with him when he was on my sets. The crazy thing to me is Max is a guy I look up to and he wanted to work on my set as a PA. Yes you heard it right a PA. Not that he needed the money, as mush as it was to see what I use and how I use it.


                                                                                                                                                                                          Had a lot of great conversations about past and present issues and one thing I absolutely know without a doubt; This guys is air tight with his contracts and I think he also video tapes them as they are getting signed and video tapes them as he pays them.


                                                                                                                                                                                          Thats what I do as well. Video before and video after when talent gets paid. Duke Skywalker takes it a few steps further; He has a 2nd camera that video tapes the entire day from when the girl steps through the door till she gets paid and leaves the location. He don't stop recording except to switch cards. The day that comes in handy, will be the day it saves him big court dollars for bullshit made up.

Really cool girl, way down to earth and a really normal person with a great business sense. No dummy and very successful. She's like a kid sister to me. Shot her about 11 times. Phenomenal performer and good person.


                                                                                                                                                                                          Im not one to get into things between friends, but I don't see Max not having the right contracts and Docs. I don't see the distributer not checking the docs, I don't see his web admin checking his docs, I don't see his oversees Broadcast distribution not checking his docs and I don't see his other pay per download distribution deals not checking the docs. Even newbies don't fuck that one up because of the seriousness of the consequences for not having the paperwork.



                                                                                                                                                                                          The winners are for sure the attorneys. Keep in mind you can actually sue anyone for just about anything. Even if its wrongful and knowingly won't win, there are a million+ attorneys that will gladly take the 10K retainer to file the paper work and go to court on it.

I did a few interviews after Max went to prison and they all asked how I felt about Max going to prison. I always told them the same thing. They can't put Max Hardcore in prison. That asshole lives on a bunch of tapes in a cabinet in my edit bay. They got the wrong guy. They're locking up Paul little.
