                  Just an FYI and I should have included it in my original post, but there are NO PASSWORDS in that list, just the email addresses. I didn't want anybody to think that I was distributing a master g,ail password list or something

                                              Under *NIX to search for a particular string in a file...

                                              grep -R "yourstring" "path/to/file"

                                              this way we dont have to open the 5M lines file.
