              All I know about Bashar Al Assad is that Bashar in Arabic means "the messenger". Al Assad in Arabic means "the lion". Hafez al Assad, the immediate past King of Syria and father of the present Bashar al Assad was the most brilliant and clever man in the middle east during his time. Born Hafez al Wahash (Wahash means "Beast" in arabic) he later changed his name to Hafez al Assad.

              Im not a Christian so I have no clue about Christian writings but I'll bet there are loads of Christians who know all of these type of things:

              Revelation 13:2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.
