Ok OV users - how can this be?

One of my sites had 6 sales from 1100 approx hits during the first 4 days of the month, about as expected.

In the days since then it has seen 1300 or so clicks and not one sale.

Now if the traffic is all from the same sources how can this possibly be?

I tried posing this question to them but as I asked for a non pro forma response they have not replied!

My advanced bullshit detector can smell something.......

Not aimed at OV but whereas the above's true it's also FAR more true with some sponsors than others...

Not a whine - a question to an observation. I'm aware that sales fluctuate but to go from 6 to zero is bullshit when the traffic is the same.

Any recommendations for other 'true' free AVS systems?

How is any traffic the same? 6 sales in 4 days to 0 from same hits is not even close to a comparison. If you get 8 sales from the next 400 hits it would be even again.

What do you reckon the chances of getting 8 in the next 400 are?

When I say the traffic is the same I mean the sources are the same - ie same s/e'ss, hubs, same click thru rates etc etc...

and yes it has been very predictable before, I wouldn't have questioned it if I didn't know the traffic.

Yeah, I wonder just how many of those surfers are returning to the same se searches and hubs repeatedly, it must be a proportion anyways.

I would like to say that first of all we don't have control over the billing sign up area as this is all 3rd party billing done be "Epoch" So there is no chance of "skimming" that goes for all our sites. Maybe it's time for a new look or feel for that area of your business, I'm not suggesting that you change programs but that maybe you need to look at a new fresher look of the same thing. This can do wonders some times. Thats why we have several tours for alot of our sites, so that you can test the waters with new looks. Or maybe you would want to look at promoting our new "reality" sites they are rocking! Any how if I can help you in any way you can email me and I'll see whati can do for you.
