Most (and I do mean most) fast food chains have come to the UK.

So if you can get a Tim Hortons frashchise for the UK you could be very rich being the first in and mabe opening a few franchises.

No that won't happen, except for one thing.

Burger King and Tim Hortons will remain separate brands because they both do extremely well, and did amazing Q1 profits this year. Tim Hortons exceeded estimates.

This is a huge deal for Tim Hortons because besides the sale, Burger King will now sell Tim Hortons coffee in all their restaurants. Just this deal alone would be giant news for Tim Hortons.

Burger King Burgers on the other hand will never appear in Tim Hortons restaurants. They both serve completely different kinds of food for one, and I think that mixing the products and brands would be devastating for Tim Hortons.

Tim Hortons coffee at Burger King: Yes.
Burger King Burgers at Tim Hortons? No.

Bingo! This is one of the main drivers of the merger, I suspect.

Or they do what Wendy's did when they first bought them, open co-branded locations sharing rent and space with 2 separate restaurants inside.

But I agree, you will not see burgers in Tim's.

Yeah ... oh wait ... I can never tell if you even remotely believe anything this crazy or you are trying to be funny. Very odd thing.

BTW sort of a slap in the face of all Americans who pay taxes and haven't decided to flee.

Used to love them 10 years ago but they changed the way they do things and the quality of their food went down, imo. They used to make the baked goods in the store and I read that now they do it offsite, freeze and microwave in the store. Just not the same taste as before. Also, really hate their coffee cup lids.

The one thing I like there though is their bacon breakfast sandwich.

Not to mention Burger King will now be considered a Canadian company, and will pay a lot less in taxes.

fyi, there's nothing crazy about the fact. And it is a fact, at a time when the BO wh is pushing hard against this sort of merger, bk went right on and did it anyway.

that's called a slap in the face, it's a metaphor, n/m.
