A former employee of mine is also a "wake and bake" guy. He literally has to have pot first thing in the morning like a cup of coffee. He had a minor heart attack and had to have some stints put in. He also has high blood pressure. He told his doctor that he smokes pot. The doctor himself told him to switch to vaping it instead of smoking it. And that's what he does. I'm not saying you should start vaping. And I'm glad you stopped smoking. But water vapor isn't going to cause people to have lung problems. Looks like the govt.'s propaganda is already starting to take hold in people's minds. But as I said earlier...I played in bands professionally starting in 1978. And for the first 2 decades I was playing every week, sometimes 7 nights a week. And we used fog machines HEAVILY. There have never been any "studies" on what the fog fluid does to people. Why? Because it's water vapor and that's pretty self-explanatory. Just like the E-Cig is. Now, thinking back...we also used oil based fog fluid. But it would leave a film all over our gear that was slick and greasy. We decided to not use that anymore because it got all over my guitars and amps. But I guess it was also sticking to our lungs. But the water based fluids? No problems. And since I KNOW that from my own experience. And I know that every stage production and touring band in the world uses them too. And since common sense tells me that water vapor is not dangerous... Then I put all that together and come up with my thoughts on it. :) |

IMO - the smell of coffee wafting across the room is usually far stronger than the slight smell of vaping. In fact, many e-juices give off almost no aroma...but rather dissipates quickly in the air. |
I have been smoke-free for 3 months thanks to ecigs and i now jog every day, something i could not do as a smoker.
PG is in a lot of food/drink with the highest amount in beer and salad dressing, and hospitals use VG in their ventilation systems where patients and doctors breathe it in all day. Obviously the government is trying to vilify the ecigs because they are losing millions through tax revenue and would rather have us on the analogs and being sick. |
