Big Wednesday! Malibu surfers, check out Laird Hamilton shooting the pier at Surfrider (Video) Crazy
Pretty awesome.
The waves are 20-25 feet at The Wedge in Newport. http://www.surfline.com/surf-report/...lifornia_4209/ Malibu is about 5-8 now, head high to 3-4 feet overhead. The big stuff is still coming. we're at the jetty @ HB state park, just a few miles from the wedge, but this is a Southwest facing beach so we aren't getting the full effect but the waves here like the wedge is but still 12-15 footers with insane swells and uber barrels!

I had the good fortune to spend last years big day at Nobu.
Not the busiest area but the waves still looked pretty big to me. (a non surfer)
