True, a lot of people are getting tatts nowadays (I'm at 12 pieces and growing). I completely agree that you shouldn't get a tatt if you're just following the hype, nor should you do anything to follow any hype. It's not cool to be a fucking bandwagoner.

Get a tattoo because you love tattoos and you've got awesome ideas for them.

That being said, I think tatts on girls are fuckin' amazing. Courtney has some sick work too!

I happen to like them...

No tattoos for me. They look dirty and trashy.

They have not yet opened a tattoo booth at Wal-Mart, so yes, they are still somewhat cool.

I've got a 45yo chick friend who was 'cool' when she was late 20s because she had a tramp stamp..... she is still in great shape but a 45yo body isn't what it used to be.

Now she hates it and can't wait to get it removed - faded tramp stamp = not cool.

I won't mind when they're not trendy anymore but to say they're not cool or they're out of date is rediculous. Millions of people will have them the rest of their lives. We can't look at them like an out of style pair of jeans. It's just not the same things. I also kinda like how so many otherwise normal people have tats they are finally accepted until people star saying they're "uncool" that's a joke!

this isnt to state an opinion on tats either way but NOTHING is more universally despised by buyers of adult related photo and video than tats...even fat is more desirable than tats for most clients.

Yes there are buyers for "alt" girl content - but it's a teeny tiny fraction of the content market - I hear the same thing over and over - no tats

Ive never liked them either but in my case, I would never considered a girl that had a tattoo.
