I provide example of USA and Russia, because it is actual right now. What other well known countries should I use? Also you wouldn't provide your location, lets stick with US and Russian then.

Russian leaders were recognized even when it was Banana junta aka Soviet Union. It tells me that when you lead big enough country, you have recognition, no matter how you got into power.

I don't even know what those your examples should represent. Examples of what? Are we again in some issue about "bad countries" or something? What are we talking about?

I did say "dictatorships and the like", Russia is semi-dictatorship. Being elected as a president doesn't exclude for elevating being dictator. Even Adolf Hitler was elected, not as a dictator, but after being named as a chancelor and having significant portion of votes in the following election, he and his party made it to be dictatorship.

Also the semi-dictatorship is pretty much built into Russian system and mentality. You take it so badly, but Russians like dictators, or at least dictator like leaders (very strong leaders).

A stupid comment. Ukraine is not a part of NATO nor Russian military block. In case of WWIII it has a lot of chances to survive, because Russia, the USA/Canada and the European Union will be burnt out. Thailand, India, Bali are some good options indeed. I'll add NZ and the South American countries. Course if WWIII won't trigger a global nuclear winter. In this case I would prefer to die in the center of a nuclear blast, because the survived ones will envy for those who've died in a fraction of second.
