amerinoc site goes down once a week

i'm paying $10/month for shared hosting on a non-nude photography site, and my site goes down at least once a week or once every two weeks. so much so, that i have my own site as my start page to see if it's still up every time i log into my browser.

Pingdom, Uptime Robot, and Status Cake are a few uptime websites you could monitor your websites with for free |

As for the hosting, Im not sure WHAT you should expect for $10, we don't have any accounts like that, but its not JUST $10, its $10 from EACH of you sharing that server. They are making more on shared servers than they do on dedicated I would think. So why shouldn't you have 99.9% uptime like we do? Id think you should |

it's apparently WP plugins that usually cause the crash from what they've said.

The main problem with using a $10 shared hosting is some people try to run 30 blogs on one $10 shared server. It doesn't just put a load on their shared server, it slows down all servers on that shared server. They should limit the amount of resources one user is allowed to use and if they continue to cause the server to crash they should ask them to upgrade or move.
