Pretty much everyone I know, myself included make less money than we did 8-10 years ago.

not even accounting for inflation.

Is this how it is for everyone or am I just a loser surrounded by losers?

There is far, far more money being made online now than 10 yrs ago. And far more in adult. The number of users has grown and while there are free options giving away what many people relied on selling back then, there are far more WAYS to make $ now then there used to be.

You have to be creative and think outside the box more than you used to. Back then, pretty much everyone I knew could make good money...most made GREAT money. The heard has been thinned for sure.

But If I look at all of the smart people I know that were making a fortune back then....most are still making a fortune, just in different ways.

Online-wise this is true.
But I know people with 'mainstream' jobs who are killing it.

Of course it is for almost everyone. Only few have bigger slices while 99% earn less (in terms of the same amount of time invested).
Porn is free now, it was not 10 years ago. People paid back than, less people pay now. WAY less.
It is natural. Few greedy scum destroyed it.

It's due to all kinds of things. There is alot more competition than there was 10 years ago. 10 Years ago, the Interwebz was still "new" to alot of people. The economy was better, and for us Canadians, the conversion rate on US to CDN was fantastic.

Today there's alot more competition and content theft is out of control, and less people have disposable income. Downsizing and becoming as efficient as possible is the only way for many companies.

The new jobs created in the new world order under Obama is low paying service jobs, not high paying creation jobs.
Because of this, or proof of this is that the Median wage in the US has dropped 8% while Obama has been in office, remember the shovel ready jobs that the Stimulus was suppose to create that it didn't?
When people in the US have less spending money, our business will take a hit. I'm doing ok, but I have expanded what I do online to work in Mainstream as well as adult. My new affiliate network will be launched later this month and I hope to make a killing!

think about that

Real growth is down since the Clinton Administration -- the decline started in 2000.

So, it's not just Obama's fault but then isn't he the current whipping boy.

The blame goes to those currently in office, it's their decisions that change the environment.
Obama has been in office for almost 6 years and things are just getting worse.

Everyone complained about the rights we lost under Bush, do we have more now?

We will start with 4 in house offers for affiliates to build a base of affiliates that will bring in new merchants, the first is a political super pac that affiliates can promote and get 40% of the donation with a cap of $400. So basically, you can get as much as $400 for one donation and you know how much money is in politics. For affiliates that bring in a lot, I can raise that.

We have a vap product that will be next, then a Solar battery system for solar panels and a service for people that need co signers to get an apartment.

Hoping to launch next week.
