Though, I can't honestly say I expect them to be truthful with the results, as they also covered up the Swine Flu numbers when it started to get bad so it didn't hurt tourism. Now with the military junta running the country and controlling all media, there is no telling what they will sweep under the rug.
Because they will be unable to deal with it and that would cause serious loss of face, they will probably allow it to devastate the population before admitting it is an issue. These are the same people who for a very long time said HIV/AIDS was just a rumor and didn't exist in Thailand even though 1000s were dying from it and many more infected. Third world shenanigans. :Oh crap |
