No, people will just assume you're a father there with your kid, relax
|
I do what I want, when I want and I don't give a shit what anyone else things.
Try it. |
I'd say you are too old to go to concerts when you don't enjoy waiting in long lines, dealing with crowded expensive parking in shitty parts of town filled with one way streets and sitting in uncomfortable places with dirty restrooms for long periods with a lot of noisy annoying people while some musicians you can barely see play low quality, poorly mixed music while everybody acts like they are excited to be there when in fact they are just stupid enough to be excited about anything.
So I'm too old and I pretty much always have been. |

And what does "you start keeping everybody as a "dickhead"" means ? :1orglaugh you meant "seeing" maybe ?? People don't really give a fuck how old you are, 37 is young, chicks dig it :thumbsup http://hugelolcdn.com/i/84287.gif |
When you are dead... that's when you are too old to go to concerts. Who cares how old everyone else there is.
|
Long as it legal do what you like cuzzz
|
Fuck that...no way 37 is too old.
I'm 37 and a musician and there are several new bands that I have really taken a liking to that I try and see live as often as possible. I may go with my wife or a couple of buddies...but we go and we have a blast every time. |
Never too old to do anything. I just went to a concert on Saturday! Bleeding Through!!
|
I go to shows regularly and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. When I see an old fucker checking out a great band it makes me happy. 17 or 60 it doesnt matter how old you are as long as you're having fun and you dont act like a dickhead.
|
As a longtime Deadhead I am absolutely immune to these issues.
Music is timelessness in time and harmony. |
This^^^^^^ Happy belated Jerry!

Depends who you are seeing.
mylie cyrus, justin bieber -- it is probably best you keep that embarrassment at home. Unless you are there to creep on the girls and their moms. Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, WuTang Clan and shit like that, get your old balls there and get down. i guess the rule is if you are old enough to be a parent of the person you wanna see in concert you should just stay home and watch it online or something. :2 cents::2 cents: |
Of course not, 'rock on' as everybody told you before :thumbsup
|
Do not give up, never to old.
Go to the moshpit on the concerts and you will have respect :thumbsup |
Reminds me when I was in Bangkok at a night club and there was 78 year old Irish man in the middle of the dance floor going wild, and everybody was in awe of him. He said 'I've been dancing for 70 years, nobody's going to fucking stop me.' That's the same spirit you should take towards attending concerts, or anything you love.
|
Fuck 'em all, you should go to any concert you want. I have Joe Satriani and Queens of the Stone Age in my list, can't wait for those shows. ;)
|
I was still active in the pit at 37... now at nearly 46, not so much.

I'm going to see John Forgerthy and also the Black Keys in up coming months... Not to old at all ;)
|
Dont take care of people staring at you. Just enjoy the concert if you like the indie music shows. I know people in their thirties who go.
|
no way .
