    How many calories do you need a day to lose weight

    1100-1300 is what I should be at for my daily calorie intake.

    I measure my eating per mammoth basis.

    Seriously, I have significant muscle mass and that calculator can no way take that into account.

      To lose weight you should eat
      1900 to 2100
      calories per day


      To maintain your weight you should eat
      2400 to 2600
      calories per day


      wtf this is wrong, i eat less than 2k calories as it is

          Same here haha. Thing has be eating 3.2K to gain weight, I bulk on 4.2k and cut on 3.8k

            I'm 6 foot and 144 pounds.. just hard for me to eat a lot of calories.. Been making myself a banana peanut butter protein smoothie daily for 2 weeks and really have not noticed a difference besides my stomach looking a little bigger :\

                They are right. I was on a diet and eating half of that. I started eating more, starting working out, and bingo - i started to loose weight.
