The people who currently 'hate' others over religious differences would simply find something else to hate others over.
Some of you best study history a little harder. Religion in the broad sense on the surface might seem all about wars and judging people, inquisitions and crucifixions etc, but if you look at the whole picture you'd soon see that a world without any form of 'faith' is a very bleak one.

The world would be MUCH, MUCH worse..... religion is what holds it together.
You can equate it to the US considering Iraq would be liberated by their invasion of it. Many people held that view - now look at Iraq. Same for religion, its basically what has held things together - without beliefs, without god, in some region there's no reason not to kill thy neighbour for what he has. It would actually be worse. Like it or not, more than 90% of people on earth follow one religion or another. Without religion, people would have very little to no self control, would be rude to strangers, would act immorally, etc. Not that they don't do that already, obviously. It's not that simple. That would require evolution, real and significant changes in our genes.
With what we are today, if you don't believe in God, you will believe into some NWO shit or something like that. Or maybe something more subtle, maybe you go nuts with "herbs healing power", etc. Well, nothing wrong with herbs, just remember that most plants are more or less poisonous.

The 'more people have died because of religion' line that gets used ad nauseum against religion like most ideas that get repeated ad nauseum just isn't true.
Only 7% of all wars fought in history could be considered religious wars.
Far more have been killed in the name of Communism which allows no religion.
Atheists are very arrogant, the Western world we live in has been so influenced by Christianity and Judaism in its development that the truth is that even their self proclaimed intellectual rational science based superiority is due to a large extent to religion. It's impossible to know how the world would have developed without religion.
We'll all be long gone before there is a generation raised without religion, if it happens at all, but if it does it will sure be interesting what effect its absence will or won't have on how people live their lives.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting.
