I really don't feel anything when watching those pictures, except wondering that should I feel something.

The self-mutilation pictures and such are more disgusting to me. That kind of victims are even shown in the news with a little heads up about "potentially disturbing images".

I think it's quite normal to not think it's cool to view images of burning or dismembered dead kids - at least if you are a parent.

I do expect a certain amount of lack of emotions in this industry, but even posting images like the ones in that thread should be beneath most of us.

In one way, we're all adults, and sharing graphic images like that should be allowed because its news, especially if you are bring tragic events to light.

On the other hand, this is an adult webmaster forum. It would be nice to see more adult industry topics here, but then again the political and other threads are fun and interesting to read and discuss, and generate more traffic for GFY to sell more ads to keep this site up and profitable. Removing "some" types of discussions would be seen as censorship maybe.

Each of us can "ignore" people who provide little or no interesting content, and I think it is the best way of doing things.

Yes that picture is horrible and tragic, but taken in the context (its tweet), it's important.

Personally that kind of pictures don't bother me. Pictures about wars, accidents and such don't bother me, but sadism and such go beyond my tolerance, and that's why I don't watch horror movies like Hostel, Hannibal and such. The former informs and shows me what happens in the world and latter is just entertainment that doesn't entertain me. And I cannot control whether I see the first one in IRL, so I must have stomach for it.

Thanks. It's now 8:30 PM so I am on my last cup. And may I remind you that I served and at that, was sent out on combat operations with NATO back in the day. And that I also volunteer and help the local community as a fire fighter in my spare time, where we get all the joys of people / families burning up and smashed up in car accidents.

So I am fully aware of reality thank you and have and are seeing my share of it. In real life and I think I make a difference. Not just on the internet, unlike probably the majority of the keyboard warriors that are debating in that thread where the image was removed.

I just don't expect to get a dose of that kind of nasty here - when it's clearly not allowed. But porn nasty? Bring it on!

Yes. Well we do get paid when we are called there. It's a small area where I life so there are no full time firefighters here. The system works differently than in the US or in the bigger cities. We aren't EMT's in my country like you are in the US, but we are usually there at the same time as the EMTs and the police. ANYHOW! Since you asked, yes there are a few things that makes me react yes, dead kids being among it. Triple anal fisting, not so much
