huh? I've said it before, don't you go changin! You're one of my favorite posters here, and I mean that. nevertheless, I have nofucking idea what you're trying to get at with this post- fill me in-Hi Dyna...
I think maybe you don't get me. Let me put it another way. The SRT Vendzilla posted is a cool looking car for sure. I like the looks of American Muscle Cars and the new SRT is one sex car for sure, just not "for me".
I used to love everything about American Muscle cars, but not any more. To me, gas cars just aren't as cool as electric ones.
I will always state my point in a friendly way, or I'll be a total asshole about it too, but that's just me, and that's just GFY. Everyone here has very strong opinions, and everyone here defends those opinions to the death. It's what GFY users do, its what keyboard warriors do.
So: If Vendy pulls up in an SRT at some future trade show, everyone will stand around and gasp because it IS a cool looking, fast fucking car. Maybe he will even take me for a ride in it (and into the woods and beat the shit out of me). Would I ever buy one myself though? No. I think electric is cooler, smarter and more high tech, and I just don't want to give any more money to big oil because all they do is pollute the world with it. IMHO of course.
Peace.

Is there a special edition anything that has more HP?Again, not bashing it because it's badass but you are taking a special edition Hellcat comparing to stock Camaros, Vettes, Vipers, and Mustangs so sure it has more HP.
Just like a COPO Camaro will have more HP then any "stock" vette right off the line but that doesn't mean in general Camaros are faster then Vettes.
2013-14 Mustang Shelby GT500 600 hp
2013 Corvette ZR1 LS9 Supercharged V8 638 hp 114k to buy
2014 Camaro ZL1 580 hp $55,000
2013 COPO Camaro with the 427 has 425 horsepower
http://www.chevrolet.com/performance...13/issue1.htmlCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Then we agree, I have always been a mopar fan, I love all of them. I just watched Fast and Furious 6 where Vin Diesel is driving a super bird, that's a bad ass ride. So fast it was banned from Nascar

Tesla Model S : 0-60 MPH in 4.2 Seconds. Fuel cost? About $3.00 per "tank". Awesome.
SRT Hellcat : 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Fuel cost? $85 per tank. Meh.
Sorry.. I used to love muscle cars, especially big ones like these, but to me they're just not cool anymore. I'm sure it's a super fun car to drive but cool is in the eye of the beholder.
Whatever happened to you in life has emasculated you. You need to man the fuck up, Becky. Put the ipad down, go have some cheap beer, a cheeseburger, watch some old John Wayne movies and stop being such a fucking pussy.I like pie.Comment

Didn't check the page out but pretty impressive that that particular car can put all that power down enough to snap a 0-60 like that.. Michelin Pilot Super Sports? ;)Comment

Why, nuthin' my good man... just want to make sure you understand where I'm coming from is 'all... ;)
Actually... I *LOVE* Cheeseburgers and cheap beer. Not into John Wayne, but I know what you mean.
I would argue that it is Vendzilla is the one who needs to "man up". In post #25 of this thread http://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1143...arley+Davidson Vendzilla talks about picking up chicks in his "Road King", and joked about it not happening to a Volt. My argument would be "Why does he need a Harley to pickup chicks?". The car I drive does not define me, especially to the opposite sex. You could say I'm "Man enough" to drive electric, or, I could say "I just like electric". Isn't it possible that some manly men aren't that manly, and feel they must assert their manly manlyness with Harley's and Hemi's?

Sorry to hear you had to let it go. I'm sure it was fun while you had it.
Sorry - didn't mean to harsh your buzz. To clarify, it's a cool looking car - and I love the retro look. I hope that opinion counts for something. peace.Comment

i am a car enthusiast, i used to drive Porsche, i still have a subscription to 5 car magazines each month
Back in Germany I could drive as fast as i wanted on many parts on the highway - and I did
what I don't get is what use is a car with 700hp when you have the same model with 400 or 500 hp already - in a country that allows you to drive max. 65 mp/h. this makes zero sense.
but the good thing is: not everything in life has to make sense.
it still can amuse me though
And I actually like the GT86 - brilliant little fun car - but most Americans would probably say: What? Only 4 cylinders? Only 200hp? That's weak, that's slow... blablabla...
once again - amusing when you consider you can drive only 65 mp/h anyways and for proper acceleration on ramps already a Jetta TDI is more than enoughComment
