    While you are distracted with a plane crash...

    We are being attacked and invaded.
    These are not the "poor children" you've been hearing about over and over and over, these are violent invaders.
    They are organizing, and this will only escalate. They are not "protesters", they are invaders.

                                  And while we were distracted by the flight being shot down, Obama signed an executive order banning the import and sales of AK-47's indefinitely and mainly targeted Saiga rifles and shotguns - which has a huge customer base in the U.S. Anyone and everyone I know that owns a firearm has something Saiga.

                                  And this whole massive influx of immigrants was planned. The U.S. government put out job listings for immigrant handlers (escorts), mainly young children. And they posted this job back in January.

                                          Locally in Syracuse, NY a former convent is going to be used to house some of the Mexican children. There have been protestors who are afraid they have diseases that have been wiped out in the USA (they are fully inoculated, checked and given any needed shots and medical treatments as a matter of course), they are also bemoaning how we will take care of illegals before we take care of our own homeless, (as if all of these housings would be available for homeless if not for those damn illegals...)

I bet when they see a crying kid alone on the crowded sidewalk they interrogate the child first to make sure he's legal, and THEN offer a hug... because that's what America does...? Idiots.

                                              Back to the op, the Mexican Army and Mexican police have been on US soil several times over the past few years, yet Obama does nothing
                                              Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                                                          We need to build a fucking huge wall and stop people from entering in our country illegally. It's that fucking simple.

                                                          We have a method in place for people to become citizens of the United States. You get a Visa to come here, enter the country legally, pay taxes, etc. If you behave and be a good resident, you can apply to become a citizen here. I went through this process with a co-worker years ago in Phoenix, and it was most interesting. It's not difficult - do it legally, stay out of trouble, take a test, and bingo you too can live the American dream.

                                                          This is exactly what we need - a massive public works project that will employ tens of thousands and help the economy in so many ways we cannot begin to factor in. In the process, we'll secure our borders too.

The protesters are protesting how the government is handling the situation and basically giving any other immigrate a blueprint on how to get into the U.S., get free food, free lodging, free healthcare, and free clothing - well, free to them, but not documented tax paying Americans.

                                                              That's like the government telling you there's nothing they can do to assist you with your starving children, then they buy a house next door to yours, pay it off so they're living rent free, give them a monthly welfare check, food stamps (EBT) for free food, and free medical care to some other people because they are immigrants. I think you'd be a little upset, wouldn't you?

Make it better, faster, more efficient, same day processing with waits for medical issues and other document issues. Just stop this bullcrap where it takes forever to actually become an American citizen.

                                                                  But with the current stuff, it's hard to stop Catholic Charities and such groups. As I said it's not as if we deny these children and then offer the same thing for homeless Americans. NOBODY has proposed how that is actually supposed to be put into practice. It's just used as a wedge to divide people which is sad for all parties.

                                                                  The average stay of each child is 35 days.

                                                                                  my view on it has nothing to do with the careless nature USA has towards homeless vets or redirecting monies to go to them.

                                                                                  My view is based on the simple fact that we can either send them back or pay more than $2billion to provide illegals with food and shelter and medical care.


                                                                                  the 2008 law impeding sending them back is bad law, address that law instead of spending $2 billion to provide USA quality living arrangements to illegals.

                                                                                  There's a process to become a citizen, Rochard pointed out it's not difficult.

                                                                                                                              Agreed. And where a fence is not possible to be built, you put up guard towers with high powered guns, and concentrate the border patrol agents to stop those gaps.

                                                                                                                              Get that built and solved first, then work towards dealing with those illegals that are here already.

                                                                                                                                                      hmm, hadn't considered it from this view, I figured people will do what we always do, usually set up and live our lives within a mile or less of where our parents/family are/where we were born. At least I seem to recall stats that show that is what people everywhere tend to do.

Entire trains covered with illegals hitching a ride in. They are moving from the shit area (Central America) to the good area (here) and eventually we will collapse under the weight of it all and end up a dump like Mexico.

There was a local news segmant on it, as per daily here now, and in the middle of the report 2 illegal children walk right by and a were soon after picked up by border patrol.

                                                                                                                                                                                  Either way, I looked at the op from the view of questioning this as an organized invasion, while I am not sure that is the case, the illegal issue with these kids is exploding exponentially. we'll burn through that $2 billion supporting this illegals at the same time their #s will continue to increase exponentially.

It is estimated that 40% of those living here illegally came here legally and they just didn't leave.

                                                                                                                                                                                              So a wall is nice, but we would also need to tighten up how and why we let people into this country legally for it to be truly effective.
