Anyway i think i will go with catterpillar smartphone.

Get a Mac Air if you want something light for traveling. Netbooks are extremely under powered and its hard to type anything long with a tablet.
Just my :2 cents: |
I always buy a cheap-o Windows laptop before I travel for any length of time and I just went to Radio Shack and picked up a laptop for $285 on sale.
Works great. Windows 8 YUCK but works fucking great. Go cheap. LOL |
If you need to type continously, I suggest a keyboard, so go with a netbook.

Macbook air or Acer.
|
That's it... Macbook Air if you want to do any serious work.. but for a bus ride, a table is more convenient. Think about the space where you are sitting!
|
I just bought a ipad air, didn't like it at all and exchanged it 2 days later toward a 13" macpro.

I carry a fully charged spare. More weight to lug around maybe but you have double the battery time for transoceanic air flights. Charging plug-ins have limited availability on air flights. |

yes I think netbook is dead, +1 vote to the tablet

I have a mini laptop with an 11" touchscreen running Windows 8.1. The touchscreen seemed a useful feature at first, but then I learned keyboard shortcuts. Replace flick, poke, flick, flick, poke with the windows key and something else. The only time I touch the screen these days is to flick the wakeup screen away. :1orglaugh

Definitely tablet.

netbooks are something from the last century, tablets for sure!:thumbsup
