Yea fuck penalties play to the death

Awesome game, awesome way to the end the tournament. Could've gone either way but great Germany goal. Glad nothing was left with an asterisk

i take sports way too seriously but never cried at any age over my team/country losing

I burst into tears when my club team, Chelsea, against all the odds, beat Barcelona in Barcelona in the Champions League semi final in 2012.

You're a sports fan, Mutt, but you're not a soccer fan.

i have been holding back for quite a while now - but tonight I am truly happy.

tough game as predicted, Argentina has the hell of a defense but at the end the team spirit won.

awesome, fantastic, great - i'll remember this night for a long time

Great tournament. Really glad it ended before penalty kicks. I do think they should change the rules for the finals only (since there is no next game). If a finals game ends tied after extra time each team should have to remove one player and go another 15 minutes. Every 15 mins another player comes off from each side. If it takes 3 hours and gets down to 6v6 or 5v5 someone will score a goal and it's a much fairer result than penalty kicks deciding a final.

Both daft and genius at the same time! :thumbsup

Tears of joy are different. Have you broken into tears when your team has lost?

I could see myself having tears in my eyes if any of my 3 teams finally won a championship.

I've seen Canada humiliated by the Soviet Union in hockey, I threw a chair but no tears.

You'd burst in tears too if you just spend all your savings to be there only to see your team lose ;)

Fantastic goal. Germany was the best team in the tournament and deserved the win. Argentina has a lot to be proud of, they just weren't quite as good.
