HUGE difference between a fiscal conservative and a social one Jay.
Tell me... do you blow your money on stupid shit, or do you try to spend it wisely? Do you look at investments that can make you money? Are you against wasteful spending? Then YOU are a fiscal conservative. Doesn't mean you're "hardcore" anything. |

Why are you astonished that someone with fiscally conservative beliefs is involved in the porn industry? Does keeping a tight wallet somehow mean you can't sell pussy? It doesn't fit in the "acceptable" group of porn sellers? As you said, there are many different groups of people that would qualify as "right-wingers." Very broad group. Why you think they shouldn't be selling pussy is what's astonishing... Only a "liberal mind" when the proper checkboxes on a ballot are filled. |

Of course I'm against wasteful spending, don't be silly... everyone is. The bush admin was a good lesson in that :1orglaugh The point I'm making here is... America is still very much a two party system. And if you vote conservative, you are on the same side with the religious whack jobs by default. |

so i'll just be rephrasing what i wrote yesterday: I am surprised so many political conservative people exist in a (theoretically) liberal business like adult. that's all |

Do they vote their wallet and end up losing personal freedoms from the religious groups who control the Republicans? Or do they vote their social feelings and end up losing other personal freedoms to liberal ideologues who steer the Democrat party? To me, that has been the dilemma since I started voting. I voted for Clinton. I still feel pretty good about that one. I hated Gore, think he's a pussy. So I voted Bush in 2000. Thought it was a good move at the time. Hindsight being 20/20, maybe Gore wasn't so bad. But having said that...the economy was still pretty damn good even after the Internet Bubble burst at the end of the Clinton administration. I didn't vote in 2004. But if I had, I doubt very seriously I would have voted for John Kerry. He seemed (and still seems) like a fake. If you think Mitt Romney is plastic...well, I think Kerry is 10 times worse. Especially when his wife came into the picture. ugghhhhh 2008...I voted for "hope and change" and jumped on the Obama bandwagon. And I have to say that I owe Pres. Obama a lot for that. He inspired me during his 2008 election with what he said. Got me really hopeful. And then proceeded to disappoint me so badly that I swore off the 2-party bullshit. So in 2012 I registered as a Libertarian. At this point they are the only party that overall seems to be fiscally conservative AND completely and EXTREMELY socially liberal. Or as Gary Johnson (the Libertarian candidate for Pres. in 2012) said: "I'm Pro-Everything" And I like that idea. Personal freedom. Let me choose my own life and what I want to do with it. I think that most people feel the same. The govt. has managed to scare us into thinking that we just can't survive without them controlling our everyday lives. I like the Libertarian idea of the govt. serving us, staying small and not RULING over us like children. Anyway, that's the direction I personally took. And yes, I've been fiscally "conservative" most of my life. And at the same time...like you, I am EXTREMELY socially liberal. The Republicans and Democrats are neither. The Republicans are not fiscally conservative and they are not socially liberal. The Democrats are less fiscally conservative and not much better at being socially liberal (I'm talking about the lifetime/career Congressmen and Senators in Washington D.C., not the actual PEOPLE who call themselves Republicans and Democrats) |

And to answer your rephrasing...I again say to you that there are no socially conservative/religious nutcases in porn. But fiscally conservative ones? Hell yes. This is an extremely liberal business (as you know) when it comes to social issues. |
Quote:
I agree with a lot of what you just said... and the stuff I don't agree with... I can see your point. Believe me... I look forward to the day where Greens and Libertarians have a real shot, because at the end of the day... where I stand on several issues fits into both ideologies. |

Stalker Alert!!!!!! Stalker Alert!!!! Stranger Danger!!!!! Pornmasta How to Get Rid of a Stalker Always state romantic or social rejections clearly. Responding with comments such as, "I'm not interested in a relationship/being friends with you at this time," or "I'm dating someone else," can lead a person to believe that you would date or be friends with them, if the timing were right or if they keep pressing the issue. Warn the offender clearly. Tell the stalker in as few words as possible that they are not welcome to contact you. "Do not contact me again." Do not engage in lengthy dialogue with the suspected stalker. Never respond to any of the suspected stalker's contacts again. Your goal is to inform the stalker that their actions are harassment and warn them never to make contact with you from that point on. What you say must be credible. There may be a chance that the offender may cease and desist. Later record how and when you gave the warning along with any future incidents. Ignore and do not respond to further attempted interactions. Your stalker may try to deliberately rile you by making provocative comments if he or she gets close enough to you or uses messages to do so. Any response, even a negative one only feeds into the stalker's belief that he/she is getting to you. Be strong and keep walking or refuse to press that recall button. Do not press reply. Just ignore the comments - otherwise, you are adding fuel to the fire. If the stalker is an ex, it may help to read How to end a controlling or manipulative relationship. Never attempt to reason with or appease a stalker. This only reinforces his/her belief that his or her tactics are working. |

Mixed-Race America
http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/...ca-blog480.jpg The Changing Face of America http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/20...er-photography That map is from a new Census Bureau report about the population of mixed-race Americans, which grew 32 percent from 2000 to 2010. The population of single-race Americans, by contrast, grew 9.2 percent. As a share of the total population, mixed-race Americans are still a tiny minority, just 2.9 percent, or about nine million people. As you can see in the map, the states with the highest share of residents who report being of more than one race are Hawaii (23.6 percent), Alaska (7.3 percent), Oklahoma (5.9 percent) and California (4.9 percent). Four distinct mixed-race combinations represented about 92 percent of all mixed-race people: people who reported being both white and black totaled 1.8 million; white and ?some other race,? 1.7 million; white and Asian, 1.6 million; and white and American Indian and Alaska native, 1.4 million. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mpSMZZJdZy...0/benetton.JPG http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/...82-muahaha.jpghttp://media.giphy.com/media/FrajBDPikVqBG/giphy.gif |

That entire post I just quoted could be used for ANY person who is caught up in the team spirit "us against them" dogma of political parties. You could be describing a Republican, a Democrat, a Libertarian, a Green Party, a Communist...pretty much anybody who is extremely caught up in anything. I know, I know...because I pointed that out, you're gonna accuse me again of "defending Republicans". lol And that's what I'm talking about. Reading the things you've written to me in these troll threads over the last few months...you seem to think that if a person doesn't agree with what you say, then they MUST be "defending Republicans". In other words, you kinda act the same way as you are accusing "right wingers" of acting. Thus my observation that your description pretty much goes across the spectrum and isn't just the people you disagree with. EVERYBODY acts that way when their beliefs are challenged. That's why I say...stop believing. Fuck the Democrat party (that's for you), and fuck the Republican party (that's for Republicans). Let's start actually taking these lifetime/career politicians at their fucking word from the campaign. And if they fail to deliver for ANY reason...let's "fire" them the next election until they get it through their heads that they are supposed to represent the PEOPLE...not special interests and not their own pocketbook. |
