But if you were feeling fine, and all that happened, get your ass over to the hospital emergency room. You could've had a small stroke and another may be on the way. Don't put it off because you feel fine now. You need a CAT scan and a check up. Good luck. |
Hello everyone. My name is Edgar, Rob's brother. I'm sorry to report that Rob had a massive stroke and passed away early this morning. I'm going through his online accounts with passwords saved in order to sort out his affairs. The link to this content was in his recent browser history, and I wanted to personally thank everyone for urging him to seek intimidate attention. If he would have headed your advice, they may have caught it in time to stop this tragedy. Thank you for your support.

You mentioned stress, well guess what? Stress is the real culprit here. And all most doctors seem to be able to do is lamely prescribe shit like xanax, crap that is nothing but a bandaid solution that brings with it more potentially harmful side risks than benefit.
We all have stress. Every one of us. Some of us just have less of it than others. The real solution long-term is not to find the right drug. The real solution is to identify where your stress is coming from and then removing as many of those stressors from your life as possible. Got a few annoying family members, friends, chums, buddies, aquaintances etc who constantly drive you up the wall? Either cut them out of your life completely or greatly reduce the times you have to be around them. Debt getting you down? Consolidate those loans down to one easy payment like the commercial says. Insurance rates got you frantic? Try saving hundreds of dollars by switching to Geico. In other words figure out what bugs the shit out of you and cut it out of your life. Because brother I'm telling you, over time that stress shit, as insignificant and irrelevant it might seem to you, can very much bugger up your health if not outright kill you. Good on you that you saw a doctor quickly about this. It may seem minor compared to others, it may have been described as minor by others, but there's not a god damned thing minor about it. Lower stress = :D I'm living proof. |
All jokes aside, everyone. I don't have my appointment with the specialist until Wednesday. But I've felt fine since the incident. I seriously think it was a mixture of stress and lack of oxygen to the brain. I'm still going to get checked out, but I do feel fine. I am leaning far away from it being a mini-stroke. Thanks again for your concerns.

Since no one has mentioned this, I just had to chime in here. The exact same thing happened to me on & off for about 3 solid months some years ago. I even went to the ER because of the effects. Two different emergency room doctors thought I'd had a stroke, but when I was tested ad nauseum, there was nothing. It turns out it was what is called a 'cavitation' where the bacteria went systemic thoughout my body & brain which, in turn, created what many thought to be a stoke. This has been well documented, so I thought I'd throw it out there if the tests come back negative. PS - They also tested me for aneurisms and a bunch of other shit as well. :2 cents: |
