Feminist site, jezebel.com, a Syrian bloggers site, and the site of a guy who sells Porsches are all blocked by various ISP's: https://www.blocked.org.uk/personal-stories
The main reason given for the filtering is to protect children, but it seems more than a little dumb to achieve that by treating adults as children.
BTW, my cat's website, LittleGrayGuy.com is blocked by all but one of the ISP's referenced by that site.Comment

Now they have your URL... But, if you want to assist them further, there is a helpful form you can fill out to provide further details...

When I was doing paysites I'd have been quite happy to have them manually blocked by all the ISP's with an opt in for surfers but only if fucking ATVOD didn't exist. Atvod like to use the analogy that offline world = online world so paysite owners shouldn't allow under 18's in their shop but the filters are like not even allowing under 18's out of the house without an adult so in Atvods world any kids walking past my "porn shop" are now accompanied by an adult so there is no real need for ATVOD.Comment

I am so glad I got out of porn when I did specially being here in the UK what with all the censoring of adult sites plus more to come in the next few years its going to be even harder to make money as an affliate. ATVOD is a huge pain in the arse for adult and costs a lot of money. We have allready seen legit and decent British adult video streaming sites close up because of this ATVOD bullshit. Try and run a video streaming site whether its just an affliate site or your own and they will eventually catch up with you and cost you a crap load of money.
I pity the next generation of porn webmasters trying to make money over here in the UK because they are slamming it more and more with idiotic laws and cencorship. Our so called "do gooder" pressure groups have our governments wraped around their fingers. It will only get harder to push porn in the future.Comment

So, how do you know who runs that site?
What if when you enter your adult site, it goes on a list and gets blocked?
Looks like an adult site phishing scam to me for webmasters to send their urls directly into their database, then they will be sold to the government agency and blocked.
They just got over 100,000 suckers.Comment
