Maybe you should ask, when did you grow IN to Metal?
I've always liked all kinds of music but Metal started growing on me back in the 90's. My first ever Metal concert was White Zombie. After that, I was hooked.
These days I check out a few metal shows a year, with the big one being HeavyMTL (now HeavyMontreal). The next one is coming up in August. Can't wait.
Sure, some metal sucks, but there is lots of outstanding music to be heard. The best of all are the crowds. Some may look tough but I've never once seen any violence or fight. 2 Years ago some guy knocked my beer out of my hand and he instantly brought me a new one. I went and bought him one just cuz it was so cool and we drank together. Awesome.
While Pop is for teens and Rap is for... well.. who knows... Metal music and metal shows are all ages. There are metal headed young adults and dads with kids. The best though of course are the metal babes. A hot chick wearing an Ozzy Tshirt, cowboy hat, Top Gun sunglasses, Daisy Duke shorts and cowboy boots and .... sexy girl heaven.Comment
