My New ATARI 2600!!!

Was at my moms last week and went though my old closet. Found about 200 Atari 2600 games from when I was a kid and broght them home.

Today I looked and looked to buy a Atari 2600 to buy them on and I found one for 60.00. (probably paid too much but i was suprised to find out they are more rare than X Boxes now!)

I just bought a brand new Atati 2600!!!

Anyhow playing these games bring back memories.

Cool shit.

I also broght home all my old nintendo games from the late 80's.

Tomorrow i think ill go buy a Nintendo.
Super Mario Bros, punch out, Zelda, Metal Gear... Great games as I remember.

Shit I put in many hours of my childhood into this shit.
Got boring when I hit highschool and stoped playing games, and started to discover what friends and pussy was.

Anyhow, lots of memories..

The old games were the best.

Simple and fun unlike the shit out there now days

Cool shit.
My fav on the 2600 was Breakout. You needed those damned irritating "paddle" controllers for it though.

Cheat code for either Sonic the Hedgehog, or Mortal Kombat on the Genesis. Niether of which are really "old school". Unless you're younger than 30 yrs. old.

I was playing those games when I ran my 900 business. Seems like yesterday.

Another flashback.....

REMEMBER Robot Operated Buddy... AKA ROB

Using him on gyromite and getting frustrated because he took 20 mins to make a move and practically drained 1 of its 4 6V batterys per level.

Yeah man that was it!!
It was some show that showed that show, and like some other show with these lizzard dudes that were bad guys.

Was that a different show alltogether or was it the same show?

The good guys lived in like caves hiding from these lizzrd looking men.

I remember 2 moons.

German Bearings?

They were called like GMN or GNA bearings if memory serves right.

Also there were NNB bearings, and Hartford Bearings, and the EXPENSIVE Powell Bearings!

I remeber some of the most brutal and bloody fights to see were those back in the day when I was in 6th grade at the roller rink.

The older kids would wear like spike gloves and shit, and spikes on thier sholders like the road warriors and roller skate.

LOL.. And they would wear those T-SHirts that said RATT on them.

I go and play it from time to time.

My initals are still on that fucking thing after all these years.

Im gunna buy that arcade game and that old arcade game Karate Champ for my home.

Put it in my game room.
That would be cool.

I told my wife I was gunna do that, and she's actually been looking into where to buy those large arcade size games from!!!

Yeah man Combat!!
Good shit.

I was playing that gamed called "Adventure" just now.
It was so exciting in the day.

You are basically just this little square cube, and you go to castles and fight these dragods of different colors.

YOu pich up like this arrow, and you must stab the dragon with em and get the key.

Lol fuck the xbox with its overheating 733 procs and fuck the ps2 with its magical spindle that fucks up all your cds and renders your pc2 inoperable (see www.diskreaderror.com for more info), back in the day, there were no software updates, nor were there people who paid to beta test software.

Keep it real :D
