question: exactly what make you such an authority on what we need to do and what I need to think? pretty arrogant don't you think? what I see is a guy that fears lack of control and demands that the world act and behave EXACLTY as he demands and will attack anyone that disagrees... :2 cents: |

Further the image of a helpless polar bear surviving on melting floes creates a perception that polar bears are unable to swim. This contradicts basic biology as Steven John Hibbs in The Tonka Report observed: "Ursus Maritimus is the scientific name for Polar Bear. Ursus in Latin means “bear”, while “maritimus” in Latin means “of the sea”. In Greek, Ursus maritimus literally translates to “Sea Bear”. Now seriously, does that sound like an animal that can’t swim?.. Polar bears roam the Arctic ice sheets and swim in that region’s coastal waters. They are very strong swimmers, and their large front paws, which they use to paddle, are slightly webbed. Some polar bears have been seen swimming hundreds of miles from land—though they probably cover most of that distance by floating on sheets of ice." |

dear liberals,
this is not a personal attack, no need to take it as such and react with a personal retort. It is an observation on the ideology of modern day liberalism. best- dyna |

Ask city and town managers how the books look. Ask state comptrollers. From a fiscal perspective the added load of millions of illegal immigrants "on the dole" is crushing many treasuries across the country.
The new "prosperity" in California is fake. State funds might be better off but they are choking the life out of cities and towns to do it. I know, I lived in Los Angeles until recently. Ask border states. Education is up? What planet are you on? You obviously do not have children and if you do they have to be dumb as rocks for you to think all is well. No offense but grasp reality. When you have 47 million people ++ on foodstamps alone. How prosperous is the US? Dont' freak out when your town goes belly-up. Just put on the rose-colored sunglasses, drink the kool-aid offered and prance around like a woodland fairy and rejoice. |

I admit many American workers are failures. But certainly you do not rehabilitate them by allowing millions of people into the country illegally. Those people are fighting for the same jobs now. America is a mcJob country now. I come from the generation that thinks if the FEDs want it, it must be bad. And in this case that thinking certainly applies. How does the southwest support millions of extra people when the water supplies are fading rapidly? De-salination is years away for the southwest. Thats a technical fact. It appears they have not solved the ocean water retrieval part of the job without sucking up everything in front of the intake valves. lol. I agree end most entitlements though. Be brutal. Get Putin to do the job. |
Only 31 percent of Americans, and 25 percent of independents, support his immigration-boosting polic
That?s a problem for Obama, because it undermines his political campaign to pressure GOP leaders in the House to pass the Senate?s unpopular 2013 immigration bill. A Gallup poll released June 20 showed that 61 percent of Americans oppose his immigration policies. Only 31 percent of Americans, and 25 percent of independents, support his immigration-boosting policies.

If you had two kids that were in trouble, would you only listen to one of them to get the truth, or would you ask both? |
Los Angeles is over 50% latino now, white kids make up 9% of the public schools. I never see kids working in fast food anymore.
Most jobs in LA require you to be bilingual with Spanish now Los Angeles is a Sanctuary City, this should not be allowed. We are getting our troops home, we should be deploying them to the border to secure it. Then building a proper fence and border patrol. We should send all criminals from below the border back home when they have served their sentence. And we should close the borders completely till the Mexican government starts to help |

Just because you say so or "think" doesn't make it so.. This is the rights problem, you guys are always lax on the facts but expect everyone to just agree with you because you think it sounds good. As we have gone over countless times, the so cherry picked data the right wing always uses to claim man has no effect has been proven wrong over and over..yet you guys act as if scientist whom don't agree with ignorance are the ones whom are wrong. |

Anyone time I see so done use the word liberal in the context you guys use it, I already know the person is brainwashed by the far right. Normal people don't use the term liberal as a noun, it's only the far right wingers that try to use it as a noun. Now I won't try to say I use perfect grammar all the time but seriously calling people "liberal" as a noun just looks ignorant. |
gotta make it personal, eh crockett. too bad. It would be impossible for you to prove I'm a rightie, nevertheless, I'm not insulted.
the simple fact is a term like "the science is settled" regardless of what side you are on, is not a liberal position in any sense whatsoever. And if you want to cling to an outdated definition of liberal feel free, but again, one only needs to keep a liberal viewpoint to be open to new things and definitions, right crockett. |

Of course we should all want to have a pleasant environment. While a lot if people don't give a shit at all about that just because they don't, many people don't pollute less simply because they fall on the other side of the politics of it and that disallows them. It would be the same if the debate of pollution was spun into a religious debate. God says you will burn in hell if you pollute and rest assured quite a few people will intentionally pollute. |

Just look at the Texas deal with fracking. The actual Texas state railroad commission whom is in charge of drilling in Texas was just caught outright lying about findings of a well that contaminated ground water. Just 2 days ago again with fracking, it was released that Pennsylvania's health dept was told to ignore anyone whom called asking about health related issues and fracking and they were specifically told not to return calls of people calling about fracking related issues. Then look at coal. The right non stop bitches about anything at all that is attempted to ween us off coal or oil for that matter. In Louisiana, the governor signed a bill into law that stops any lawsuits for damages by big oil's pollution of the coast lines. These things all go on and on and there are countless examples and behind almost all of them is Republican support. The simple fact is, if it harms big business in any way as in cutting profit, Republicans have shown time and time again by their actions that they will allow the pollution to continue. They don't care as long as it's not in their back yard. |

That's where the opportunity is for changing polluting behaviors. Won't be everyone though. Every time I walk down the streets of downtown Los Angeles, which is every day, I see people flick ciggarette butts onto the sidewalk/street. It doesn't matter which side of the politics those polluters fall on, anyone will have a hard time reasoning with a cigg smoking polluter. |

I mean really Litter is something that really pisses me off because it's just pure laziness and really there is zero excuse for it. The worst is going to a national park and seeing plastic bottles thrown on the ground or other random trash, even with trash cans around. The sad fact is , that many people just don't give a dam unless it's in their back yard. |
