I thought it should have been an easy-ish group for England.
Italy proved yesterday that they aren't anywhere near the level they used to be. Uruguay were soundly beaten off Costa Rica (who aren't exactly fancied in the tournament).
England and English fans get conned when they see their players picking up over £300k per week in the league, and believing that actually means they are as good as that.
As we all the know the English league pays huge sums of money and wages to very average players...
