The Day After
When it was first shown, no advertisers would sponsor it, so there weren't any commercials. And I was either pregnant, or had just had my kid, so I was probably super emotional any way  Plus they had the "Emergency Broadcasting System" ACTUALLY alerting everyone to a REAL emergency in the movie. When you hear that for so long and then see it used for a real emergency.....I dunno - I haven't seen it since then and it STILL freaks me out, lol! |
