TFT monitor
the one i have right now is fucked up
wanna buy a new one but i have no idea what is important.... how do i see if what im about to buy is good or shit?? any tips? Thanks |

Contrast ratio and brightness. The higher the better for both numbers.
If your card supports it, then get a DVI monitor. Most important is to go out and look at the monitors. Check to see if the viewable angle is acceptable to you. With most TFT monitors, the vertical angle is more important as you're more likely to be looking at the screen from different heights than you will be from left or right. At least that's the case for me. I've got 2 tft monitors, a 17" and a 19", and wouldn't give them up for anything.
