Hey. Questions about Juicy Ads.
I've had my account with them for a while now, but I've only just started actually using it. Question for those of you experienced with selling ad spots.
Say I want to sell multiple ads in the same ad zone. The leaderboard position, for example. I see that I can easily stack as many ads as I want in that zone through the Juicy Ads admin. But let's say I want to sell 10 spots in the leaderboard position and have them randomly rotate. In other words, every time the page is refreshed one of the 10 ads will display. I know how to do this on my end. And as far as I can tell, the only way to do it on Juicy Ads would be to create 10 separate ad zones in the leaderboard position. Questions 1. Is anyone doing this, or are most people just content with selling the one ad per position? 2. Is this practical, or will most advertisers steer clear of sharing ad space? |

Yes, the best way to do this is to rotate multiple individual leaderboards, and note the rotation % in the description.
We will be supporting Ad Rotation but it will come in the next big AdServer update we are already working on. I will caution though, that you only want to split the position if it has significant traffic. I wouldn't split it unless you have more than 50-100k daily to the spot. |
