I think its taboo if you do it in a massive faje landing SEO manipulation type way or using on message boards... But if you use it on your own site then i think that is a grey area.... I personally dont see anything wrong with doing it on your OWN sites.... but other peoples sites that where we have to say hmmmmmm thats not cool

Personally, I do not see what Daizzy is doing as being wrong - ie placing one cookie for the respective program on the corresponding page of his own site. If you don't visit that page AND join the program, then you are unaffected.

To me, the question becomes more about why some would take issue with it. Are you using his resource but intentionally not using his links so he receives no benefit for the work he has done? That's fucked up - and no doubt the reason why he does it in the first place.

There appears to be some webmaster mentality at work here, to take whatever you can from other webmasters, but give absolutely nothing back, even if it doesn't cost you anything personally.

Considering that he seems to be affiliated with ButtBucks in some capacity, it's likely he was legally uploading their own promotional videos. Plus, it's not that difficult to end up on the stopforumspam list. I think I was on it at one point just by creating a forum profile even though I never made a post.
