    Black people are genetically protected from Asperger's

    Has to be. You never hear anybody mention Asperger's disease/syndrome when young black males commit murders.

    I hope the researchers are on top of this and find what protects the black race from Asperger's so they can fix these tens of thousands of white kids afflicted by it.

              Aspergers is very real. Autism is a very strange mystery in society. Government is not prepared to handle the millions of autistic kids now entering adulthood. There is a whole subset of the population that can not really function in society. Take a strange quirky bullied kid, add hormones and you have bombs waiting to blast.

                                                  These kids are on psych meds because they are already in their young lives messed up. That website doesn't prove anything, it's like publishing a long list of people on chemotherapy drugs who subsequently died and concluding that the drugs killed them not cancer.

                                                  But I agree that the drug companies are the tail wagging the dog and we now have broadened the diagnosis of what is a mental illness and who suffers from it to absurd levels where millions of people, especially kids, are on psych meds who shouldn't be on them. I think a child should be profoundly disturbed/dysfunctional before drugs are resorted to. The human brain isn't fully developed until its' early 20's, now they're saying even mid 20's.

                                                                          This has already happened and it has nothing to with kids who have autism becoming adults. Everyone seems to believe that everyone else is just like them, smart enough to live on their own. The truth is the direct opposite.

                                                                          I have one friend who barely lives on his own without supervision... What's worse is that these people drive - my friend has been rear ended twice a year for the past three years and he just says "It's their fault for hitting me" without understanding he's causing the accidents by driving too fast and then stopping short with no warning.

                                                                                                              Well, considering only 12% of the population is black and 1% or so is diagnosed with autism, and a small percentage of THAT % is Asperger's, yea, its extremely uncommon to find someone with Asperger's that is black.
