I have the AT&T one, battery life is terrible. Half the time I just plug into my phone via usb for power and better connection.

Skype WiFi is almost the perfect wireless service if you only need occasional wifi access ...
Use your existing skype credit, or buy skype credits ... very decent rates for a part-time wifi solution.
