Your Mainstream News Alternative?
I seriously can't stand hearing the same coverage all the time on mainstream news. I don't care about the damn plane anymore! Unless you have a worthy update other than "Oh by the way, it's still lost and we think blah blah blah"
What do you guys use as an alternative news source? I'm super fond of Breaking the Set on YouTube: It helps that Abby Martin is pretty fuckin' cute too

Depends on the story, really. RT is no more "biased" than CNN, MSNBC, CBC, BBC, or Fox. Gad try watching CBC News Network when an English duchess gets pregnant or the Queen visits Canada (or any Olympics or chance to whip up some nationalist Canadian Pride).
But for news of a country, I'll go to RT for US, BBC for South America, Al Jazeera for Middle East and Africa, that sorta thing... For Canadian politics, I'll go anywhere, especially CBC since they cover so much of it, and the current majority party is very in your face about wanting to be Reaganite Bushie they just can't spin it otherwise... :D
