Is DigitalOcean really a good alternative for adult?

I read some comments on them online:
    http://www.wjunction.com/10-hosting-...-use-them.html
    http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1303206
    http://digitalocean.uservoice.com/fo...service-at-the
    http://serdardogruyol.com/?p=122

    They really don't seem DMCA-friendly.

Are they really a good alternative for adult sites? Anyone running tubes, blogs, TGPs or any other types of sites with them for a decent amount of time?

So OP is complaining because Digital Ocean does not want to host sites with stolen content links? So the OP is angry? Am I reading that right?

No. OP is considering them as an option.

I usually do fansites and game sites in mainstream. All my adult content is legal or from affiliates.

A simple picture can get your site taken down. I'm interested in their take.

I think the OP is pointing out that others are saying that they are not getting a chance to respond to DCMAs...

The DCMA system is being abused and misused - People need a chance to respond - If DO are terminating accounts in this way then they are playing into the hands of the abusers and the plain stupid.....

Exactly. I wouldn't want my sites to be terminated by a DMCA-bomb attack from a competitor that wants to bring me down to get the top spot.

Ah, ok. Well that sucks if DO knee-jerks you out and you are a legitimate webmaster. What the hell. Good luck with finding a better host. So many out there.

                  Do they allow mature pornography?

If you can get your grandmother to sign the paperwork I guess that would be OK...
