Apple iWatch Already in Production, Report Says

This will be great

http://mashable.com/2014/04/29/apple...m-fb-main-link

The long-rumored wearable computer from Apple, affectionately known as the iWatch, has reportedly gone into production.

Citing sources in Apple's supply chain in Asia, the site claims that part of the production includes advanced SiP (system-in-a-package) modules, which can contain a processor, DRAM and flash memory.

Such a module, used in mobile devices like MP3 players and smartphones, could be useful in producing a wearable computer. However the China Times report doesn't offer further technical details beyond that.

It said the device will be released in the latter half of 2014, and that production of up to 3 million devices will began in the second quarter of this year, and will increase to 14 to 15 million in the third quarter.

More garbage for the Apple fag boys to wait out all night for days in line for.

Apple could sell the iDogShit and all it would be is a box with a steaming pile of fresh dog shit inside with an Apple logo on it and the fan boys would still buy it.

I'm skeptical. I can't imagine a display being that small to be usable for much more than showing date, time, calendar, some basic info... maybe showing who is calling me would be nice... but Apple makes great products so let's wait and see.

Harmon you really need to chill out and give Apple a chance. At least go into an Apple store and have a look around. They have nice stores, smart staff, great support, good products and fair prices.

In fact I was thinking about their store. The way they are set up makes it so easy to buy stuff. Last week I walked in to the one on St. Catherine street here in Montreal just to kill a few minutes, and I found a Mobee magic charger and bought it.

Here's what was cool:

- Very fast sale. A salesperson came up to me and asked if I wanted to buy it, and I said yes. He swiped my credit card into his iPhone and the sale was made. No cash register, no waiting in line. Boom! Done! My invoice was emailed to me. No paper.

- No pushy sales people. They leave you the fuck alone until you ask a question.

- LOTS of helpful staff.

- Clean Store. Great, open layout. Bright. Clean! Did I say Clean?

- You can play with all of the computers, iPads, iPhones, for as long as you want.

- Need help? Tap the iPad in front of the iMac and someone comes to see you within minutes (And holy shit - they speak English! In Montreal, finding English speaking service peeps is pretty much hit or miss at any store).

Hate them all you want Harmon but you are really making a mistake by not giving them at least a little of your business. Shopping at Apple is probably the best retail experience you can have.

Product wise, we have 4 iMac 27's and 2 Macbook computers and not a single one has broken, or died, or have any fans that have burned out or become noisy, or had any dead pixels on their screens, or anything. We average about 1 technical support call per year to Apple and had issues resolved REALLY quickly, without having to wait on hold, and without being transferred to India, and without having to provide a credit card.

We've also had a few iPhones over the years. One case cracked after dropping it on cement, but it was old and due to be replaced anyway. My other phone had a battery issue and Apple swapped it free of charge.

Can you honestly say that you have had the same level of enjoyment and satisfaction with any computer hardware you've purchased? If so I would be surprised.

As I've said in other posts, it's crazy to call Apple product buyers like myself, a "fanboy". It implies that I have blinders on and can't see anything else but Apple, but this isn't true. I've been a die hard Windows / PC / Build your own machine guy since the 80's (yes! 80's! I had a PC XT!), and 1 day I decided to try an Apple product. It's you PC people that are "Fanboys". You're the ones who dismiss Apple because you think they're market is just hipsters without actually finding out for yourself.

If anything, it's PC's & Windows that are overpriced dogshit. Clunky computers that require dozens of anti-virus updates every year, and dozens of drivers, and bare minimum support. Maybe iMacs cost a little more but surely the time you save is worth 10 times more than that.

Peace!

I agree about the apple store but they are cult like. I took one of their free classes, if the guy said awesome once he said 50 times. Also giving me compliments on my macbook pro like it was the only one of its kind. lol

I don't know... I am surely not a "Apple fag boy".... I have an iTouch but not an iPhone... But that looks pretty good.

Fanboys will buy them up, but I can't see these things being anymore than a blip on the radar like oh umm calculator watches of the 80s.. Wearing big clunky watches is just not stylish and it's gonna be too small to be practical.

Looks nice but not sure about the format. .. Screen seems very small.

Actually an Ipod nano with the metal LunaTik wristband works great.... But hey, if they can put equivalent of my Iphone 5 in there (Iwatch) + Fm radio (which I love from Ipod nano), I think I'd buy one

This is what I have and it is very nice
