I started very near there but moved to south Essex when I was young - Oliver did pretty much the same but a few years later - Most of my early life was in Southend...

I think of him as a bit of a caricature of an Essex lad, but totally fake - His parents had a pub, but trust me we are not talking the Queen Vic.....

Interesting, you know Bishop's Stortford? Oliver went to a secondary school which some people near me also went to, used to go there myself every now and then to compete in sports.

I remember going to a Pub there for Sunday lunch when I was a kid - It was by a river and had a beer garden...

Myself I stayed up in the area right up until after A-levels in Cambridge, then headed to Liverpool for uni, came back worked a bit in Harlow, then headed out to Aberystwyth for post-grad, came back briefly to work in Milton Keynes, then back out to Wales again.

We where based at Napsbury, a hospital just south of St Albans - We did most of our study at the Hatfield campus though...

I did my MSc. at The Uni Of Otago - In New Zealand - A bit different!....

I respect the work he is doing...it is self=serving a bit for sure but he is accomplishing great things in regards to childrens intake of food.

I think he turns over more than 30 million a year (UK £) gross so he has a very good team around him.

Didn't know about the Bipolar, left you with no choice but to leave. Sounds like you got into adult at the right time, I first had a try in 2007 so I missed the party.
