What is the best NEW music video you've seen in a while?


For me, Earl Sweatshirt's video for "Hive" is one of the best I've seen in quite
some time. I love the light use of animation and the entire NIN meets AdultSwim vibe.




Any other recommendations?

that's actually a pretty cool vid, it remind's me of n.e.r.d.'s lapdance vid and also fiona apple's criminal.

how new does a vid have to be to qualify as new for this thread? 2 years? 1 year? 90 days! ? i might have a few to contribute if they qualify

1-2 years is fine. Just nothing like old B-52's vids or something. What videos
are you feeling, these days?

These stand out for me for various reasons.

this is a fantastic video done in documentary style. the music really matches the subject matter and the timing of the video crescendo, etc is timed with the track




this one stands out for me due to its ode to macabre horror films and the tongue-in-cheek humor and guest appearances




this isn't available on youtube but it's gary clark jr and the cinematography/lighting/dof in this is remarkable
