I'm not ruling anything out until they find it, but I do agree that there should be some debris by now. The odds of that plane hitting the water and whatever speed it hit it at, and not coming part, or even a single piece falling off, are zero. I do understand it's a large area, but you would think SOMETHING would have been seen by now.

How convenientThis is easy to answer -
There are no cell phone towers in the ocean so no cell signals. No text messages, etc. Even onboard WiFi doesn't help because that is just signal from the device to the WiFi Router in the plane (a few feet). That router then needs to send by some onboard satellite transmitter system to modern digital satellites to ground to hit normal internet or phone systems.
Satellites that are modern, such as those used in the GPS on a phone or to carry digital data like Internet or TV, are not positioned down in that southern Indian Ocean because there is nothing there that calls for things like traffic directions, TV, etc.
Just a couple of mid-90s satellites cover that far south and they don't have the tech to do global positioning. They are just relays for messages from ships at sea and planes. Short messages, like text or email, that have nothing to do with positioning but more things like weather reports, condition of engines, things like that. The only time they are used for positioning is if the pilot types in a message, such as "We are one hour out of waypoint Harper22" (which never happened on this flight).Comment

You should let everyone know that you figured it all out. CNN would love to hear from you.
In the meantime, I'll wait for the plane to be found before saying where it is or isn't. It could be anywhere, including the bottom of the ocean. There is currently no evidence stating where it is, only more hints of somewhere it might be. Yet, not a single piece of the plane has been found and almost every report to date has been either been conflicting, or totally false.Comment

I haven't ruled out conspiracy. conspiracy in general is a series of events that conspire together...... COuld even be a planned conspiracy, we all know conspiracies have happened and do. But why make it so obviously obvious? If you need a plane, take a plane, there are 1000s on airfields, empty and ready. there are others in the air that aren't filled with 300 people with gps loaded smartphones. struggling with that part.Comment

The same guy that tried to tell me there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq in 2002. I called bullshit back then about that and I call bullshit about this.
No conspiracy theories just knowing from experience that "they" are incapable of telling the truth and that their lies are always for the same fucking resons. 1) Military bullshit 2) Money making scams.officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.Comment

Look, i buy conspiracy theories more than the average guy, but please. MH370 was a regularly scheduled flight. So, what? It just didn't take off that day? Come on.My personal opinion based upon my years of having been a 1960s revolutionary.
There is no plane... Never was....
It is all pure bullshit being used to mask a large muliti nation joint military exercise. They are figuring out how to coridinate operations and develop command and communication structures in the event of a possible global conflict or simular situation.
Way too much media hype for it to be anything less.Arguing whether the Democratic or Republican party is better is like debating which steaming pile of shit is slightly less stinky.Comment

Incredible isn't it.
And so the people crying are "actors" who are paid by the government, and are complaining about the same government for the tv cameras.
It all makes sense now...Comment

That plane is at the very bottom of the Indian Ocean. Why not use subs and sonars to trace it under the sea?Comment

It is mind-bloggling, but only when something like this happens. Prior to this happening, everything thought "hey, we're cool" when it comes to air traffic control and tracking. If it were just a normal day, sure. But given the situation, I can't imagine it would be too difficult to reposition a few satellites. It has already been confirmed that US satellites already blanket that area of the world, even in the ocean. Even take the US out of it, other nations do the same thing.
However, I'm not saying they are in the bottom of the ocean giving out GPS pings on an iPhone. What I said was, the technology should be there to find them and it amazes me that they can not be found, yet they can find anyone else when they want to, in the desert, on a boat, in a hole in the ground, or even on a mountain.
All things considered, it's a bit mind boggling that between the US, China, Australia and all the private companies out there with insane tech on their hands, that no one can find this plane, and not a single piece of debris has been found.
It also is true that we had the technology more than 10 years ago to prevent this mystery, via the beauty of GPS, which of course is something that millions of people now have in their pockets with their phones.
The fact is, if the air traffic control system was not still heavily dependent on radar, which is a "PRE-WWII technology, then this search would not be happening today; we'd be doing recovery by now. But it is still a radar based system.
But converting to "next gen" air traffic control is expensive, and so far, there hasn't been the political will to get it done, anywhere. That's because not only does the government have to spend a shit ton of billions of dollars to build and implement, it also has to force the airlines and other commercial aviation 'constituencies' like airports to likewise spend a shit ton of billions. It's a bitter pill to swallow, so naturally, no one has yet swallowed it, in whole.

What knocked them out so fast was hypoxia, lack of oxygen from a rapid loss of cabin pressure:don't forget how fast shit can happen at 30,000ft and 600mph. There was that flight years ago with the pro golfer on it that went off course, controllers scrambled f16s who visually confirmed that the crew were dead in the cockpit and the plane was cruising. I can't recall what happened to knock out the crew and cabin so fast but the plane flew till it ran out of gas and crashed, everyone on it was already dead.

You're insane. The amount of people involved in this would already make it impossible. There was no plane... there were no passengers.
And no this is not some false flag conspiracy theory pulled out of my ass.
As it has nicely been pointed out that they can listen in on the phone conversations of entire nations, launch missles from off the deck of a ship 500 miles out at sea and blow up only a single house, pilot remote drones at mach 1 from the otherside of the planet...
But the combined military forces of several nations are unable to find a single passenger airplane?
Considering this search is costing a fortune and some of the military hardware being used is so top secret that reporters are not allowed to photograph the planes or talk about them...
The entire thing is just a joint military exercise.
Again in my personal opinion there never was a plane that went missing and the entire bullshit about passengers and their families is just that.. more bullshit.Comment

If they say it on TV the overall majority of people will believe it. Most people are so stupid they can not find Malaysia on a map and most Americans probably believe the Indian ocean was part of the Manhattan purchse in 1626.
The entire United States economy is based on this gullibility and ignorance. In fact the majority of those involved in the news have no clue what the truth is and they could care less. They are worried about their paycheck like the vast majority of people.
Therefore you, just like me, know jack shit about this. And the odds are that we are never going to know jack shit more than what the news tells us. Neither you nor I even knew this plane existed before someone started pushing it on the TV in order to fill time between advertising breaks.
So let me sum up my point of view....
They lied about the Gulf of Tonkin... They lied about Iraq... they lied about injecting pregnant women with radiation in the late 1940... They lied about torture... They lied about the CIA not spying on everyone....
In short they are a bunch of fucking liars and you expect me to suddenly believe them? Now who's insane??? Sorry but Sucker is not tatooed on my forehead.
So how is this...
Maybe there was a plane and maybe there was no plane. Who knows?? The only thing certain is there's a lot of bullshit being spread around and I do not believe any of it. And I will never believe anything until I see it for myself.Last edited by notinmybackyard; 04-23-2014, 12:55 PM.officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.Comment

I love how all the 9/11 Was an Inside Job tinfoil hat wearing whackadoos are crawling out from their mud holes exclaiming "THE PLANE LANDED IN PAKISTAN WAKE UP SHEEPLE! False Flag!"
Yes. The plan did land. In the Ocean. Which is really fucking big. And it sank. And we're probably not going to find it for a very, very long time, if at all.AIM - thePardovich

umm, given the last plane to crash into the ocean four years ago, doesnt it seem logical that they have no idea where it is?
id imagine its somewhere in the bottom of the ocean, but we likely wont find it for years. the amount of space to cover is incredible. a big plane relative to the entire ocean is still like a needle in the hay stack type situation.Comment

While the TV reports are filled with constantly "breaking news," no one's talking about the poor businessman from Kuala Lumpur who told his wife that he had an appointment in Beijing for the weekend, and was flying on Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
Now he's been stuck for 7 weeks in his girlfriend's house and doesn't have the faintest idea how to go home.
