    Google buys drone company

    Google has just agreed to buy Titan Aerospace, a maker of high-altitude solar-powered drones that was in acquisition talks with Facebook just a few months ago. The Mountain View company hopes to use these long-lasting autonomous drones to assist its Project Loon project, which aims to broadcast internet signals to parts of the world that can't get online. Additionally, the drones' ability to capture high-resolution images of earth might also prove useful to Google's Maps software.
    So when google nukes your search engine ranks, now it may have been done literally from a drone at altitude.

                                                          Google bought a lot of robotic stuff lately, along with DeepMind Technologies and Nest Labs, Inc.

                                                          It's funny people are so sceptical about fx the Xbox One Kinnect, when you think about how much Google is trying to take over our lives.

                                                          I won't call myself paranoid, but I stopped looking at Google as a positive thing.
                                                          The whole Google book-scanning case changed my mind, and with todays change in their Terms & Conditions making it ok for them to scan emails to sell ads didn't make it any better.
