bah...the other night i drank bout 8 beers..nothing special..but on top of that took a couple of bars (xanax) at my friends house, he had a little get together.
Bad thing is I had to ask him what I did that night cause I did'nt remember a damn thing past midnight... some crazy shit I heard too..
I dont think iv'e ever had that experience before where you cant remember anything u did the night before when you wake up in the morning... very shitty experience..nvr nvr again
Actually, I saw something on the news that drinking ANY kind of alcohol, not just wine, (in moderation of course) is good for your heart and circulatory system.
Its gotten bad when you cant remember anything for the last 5 months... as long as you remember 3 months ago, its no biggie, nothing has happened in the last 3 anyway.
Originally posted by Gutterboy I got a bunch of wine as presents at Christmas, and I bought a bunch myself, so I've been averaging about 1 bottle every night by myself for the last couple of months or so. No real ill effects apart from the fact I'm not quite as sharp first thing in the morning, but I'm beginning to think about the long term.
Sudden abstinence probably isn't the best way to go after having maintained that consumption level for a few months, but I think its probably time to cut down. I remember i stopped drinking daily suddenly once before.. I didn't go into full blown withdrawl because I wasn't drinking THAT much, but I did feel really jumpy and had some savage panic attacks.
I've read a few medical studies which indicate that consuming up to 35 units a week (about 1 750ml bottle of wine a day) is actually very good for your circulatory system and lowers your risk of many cancers, but they don't address when the risk to your liver catches up.
When you try to check into a motel with a sheep!
Unless you're in Oz or course!

You should know that you're a fucking drunk when all of your friends give you wine for chirtmas...
