Rhetorical question: where do the camgirls find (steal from) most of the skype pay users?

This is a trend for years.
Beside the answer you imply, many independent models have twitter, personal fan site, or are listed in "skype girls" directories.

So if models are paid 75-80%
How much do affiliates make ??

Something wrong with that model here, or you dont know who your primary costumer is.

it is in the initial post. 6%. 3% from referred models + 3% from referred members.

You should have stuck to promoting this to cam girls. I don't imagine there will be a lot of interest from the people you are helping cam girls steal customers from.....

6% to affiliates, I think this is the value Paul Markham thought affiliates were worth.

The payout is an insult to a webmaster, you'll find no affiliates here - maybe some of the weirdo stalker fans will spam on other cam sites and twitter for 6%.

6% , on a paysite we do in average 40-50%, on cams 25-30% (not counted in shaving)

Sorry if I feel compelled to write, but I run cam programs since 10 years now, and I can not stand this "but girls got twitter and fan page" story.

As the OP said, "This is a trend for years" that peformers steal customers from cam sites (where they get 30%-50%), to show directly in Skype, cutting out site+affiliate rev share, so to get 100% minus any direct billing fee. Western Union it is the preferred way: no chargeback and fees on user side only. Otherwise, lots of cam girls got Zombaio in own cam sites, esp. when it had just 4% fee at launch, this is 96% left, and can be cashed in ATM with redpass card (altough, zombaio/redpass it suffers of delays, lately).

Still, Skype (or yahoo or else messenger), compared with the cam site from where the customer it was stolen, it misses some automation to schedule appointments and account the minutes. So, systems or plugins to bill within Skype shows it is in demand by such cam girls, and then providing it is ok, and even smart, just this is unlikely to get nice reviews or support by the cam affiliates. The reason is easy: for each 6% an affiliate get on Skype, the same member it was stolen from a cam site where 25%+ it was paid out to another affiliate.

A Skype biller anyway it can suffer of the same issue of cam sites - if paying only 70%-80% to the model, she can bring the guys in a cam site as his affiliate. Some cam sites pay up to 100% to the model who brings the customer, and more than 80% it is common. Even us, we give 82% to the model who brings the user in chatgf.com , that's 2% more than this skype biller offer, and she can use a full cam site facility. In fact, every day our cam girls "bring guys", and all the times I asked "where from", the answer it is "streamate, mfc,..." and never "he found my twitter" or even "I don't know how he found me". So I don't even ask where they find. That's fair enough because the girls steal my guys to bring in other cam sites as well - it is like: you should get guys stolen into your site as much as those stolen out into others, to balance the flow in/out. Of course the most common "models banning" reason it is "exchange of contacts", and that's the main task of cam admins. The girls even print own skype in piece of paper to show quickly on video (with note for user NOT to talk about it in chat), so not to have anything left in the chat logs!

The OP noted that cam girls got twitter and fan sites, implying that cam girls can find new pay users directly too, rather than via cam sites. Just by logic, if that it was true, no cam girl would spend their time to sit in sites for ex. streamate for just 30% (and 35% only if you're in US/CA), instead that's the site with most online models (even more than MFC, at least last time I checked). In fact if you ask any cam girl or read their forums, you get confirmation that 99.9% of guys ending up with skype shows, it was simply stolen from some cam site, where an affiliate probably was getting paid a 25%+ revshare.

or are you saying affiliates get lifetime for all transactions they send?
Its like a affiliate sending to X ccbill site and then the affiliate gets paid when user joins Y ccbill site 1 year later.

What you will also come to understand is that the way you are setup, you are actually no different to a cam site and as such it won't be long before the average cam girl realises that you are just another middleman standing between her and the customer's money which will expose you to all the same risks the cam sites have, but with less margin to absorb them.

Not to mention, that as you cannot monitor the chats, there could be all kinds of illegal activities going on (as I am sure there is with skype everyday anyway), but the difference in this case is that you are the one collecting and disbursing the money.

That said, I do like the idea of what you have done, and off site deals will be done regardless of whether you exist or not so I wish you luck. You have already lasted longer than I thought you would when I first heard about your site.

thank you for your reply and feedback. what I can say to you is that we are working to cover all the legal+business +technical+partnerships (affiliation included) aspects. let's see what the future will bring
