Yeah, overdoing it on weed - especially for people who have a low tolerance and/or are sensitive to the drug - can bring on a bona fide trip for many folks. It's all about being smart about what you're ingesting, how much, the context, etc.
But let's be honest here, over 10,000 people die of drunk driving yearly in the USA alone to say nothing of the health issues, domestic abuse, etc, that's exacerbated by booze. Education and responsible use are key with any drug.*********

the weed didn't hurt him. The ground did.
Have you ever heard of anyone getting alcohol poisoning? Probably.
have you ever heard of weed poisoning? Fuck it...alcohol is responsible for thousands of deaths per year, and weed has almost none. Don't even try to say weed is dangerous.

A black teenager tested positive for THC? Clearly an anomaly.
EDIT: The word "black" in that sentence is totally unnecessary. I am gonna leave it cause I shouldn't have said that but the irony would be just as strong without the word "black". Teenagers smoke weed. All of them.Last edited by iSpyCams; 04-02-2014, 03:29 PM.- As soon as I think up a good sig it's going here.Comment

Get the fuck out of here with that shit. lmfao. The propaganda morons are really trying hard. One "pot laced" cookie and you'll jump to your death. One puff off a Marihuana Cigarette and you'll murder your brother. And "White women will run off with 'darkies'".. Seriously.. lol

Don't forget wine.
Edit: Read the article, sobriety is for people that can't handle drugs; he was obviously one of them. There are people that can't handle peanuts either.Last edited by baddog; 04-02-2014, 06:45 PM.Comment

i find it easy: you either legalize weed or also ban alcohol
alcohol kills millions of people every year - either due to health related issues or accidents, violence etc
the number of people that die due to weed? so little that there's even an article about it if it accidentally happens. imagine there would be an article about every person that died from alcohol.Comment

Holy fucking shit I just read the whole article. These fucking dipshits. This kid had a total of 7.2 nanograms in his system. That is absolutely nothing even for a noob. As a reference watch this video to see how high of Ng they have to get before the are even buzzed. Wow this is such bullshit.Comment

Whether or not weed, alcohol, {insert any other substance} is dangerous for you isn't the question. It's should we (a) kidnap individuals who voluntarily take these substances or sell these substances and (b) create victims out of others (property theft, taxation to house them) who had nothing to do with these people?
Clearly, no. It's like this: If there's no victim, there's no crime. If you choose to do crack in your basement, there's no victim. If you choose to do crack and you kill someone in a car, there's a victim. See? It's fucking easy.
Besides, Portugal decriminalized drugs 10 years ago and now their addiction rates have been cut in half; because instead of throwing them in rape cages, they get them help.
And on a final note, here's an image I made while learning 3D a couple months ago ;)

interesting tidbit I picked up the other day about death and weed, finding many more traffic fatalities in the morgue with THC in their bodies in the 'legal' states... not sure how you missed this but the USA has banned alcohol before... didn't work out to welli find it easy: you either legalize weed or also ban alcohol

Some niggas just shouldn't smoke. My neighbor, rest in peace, smoked daily hardcore and had a bad heart and shit. Dude had 3 heart attacks before his last one. He caught a heart attack last month, got out the hospital and the next day smoked bud again like normal. Well weed speeds up your heart rate so 2 days later he smoked his last bowl and caught a heart attack mid session while the bowl was still burnin. His fragile heart was failing, but since the ambulance thought it was a drug overdose they were treating him as an overdise case instead if a heart attack victim and killed him. My dude died from smoking weed. True story.“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Longtime medical marijuana advocate in New Jersey, Jim Miller sings "Legal Medicine Blues."
Words and music to "Legal Medicine Blues" by Rick Harris of Mineral Point, WI.
Legal Medicine Blues was inspired by WI patient-activist Jacki Rickert, founder of "Is My Medicine Legal YET?" (immly.org).
Read more about the song, listen to the original recorded version and view other videos of Rick and others performing it live at: http://www.immly.org/legal_medicine_blues.htm.... That video contains footage of Rick Harris singing Legal Medicine Blues at a June 7, 2009 IMMLY vigil at the WI State Capitol in Madison by Julie of Madison NORML/IMMLY.

Mykayla is a great kid. I've watched her go from sickly and nearly dead to thriving and healthy. Her dad Brandon has done some great work as well to help educate people. He wasn't used to being in front of cameras but he went on national tv many times now and debated and held his own. He answered the questions right and didn't soft shoe the answers like so many do. Too many want to seem active in advocacy but they won't be 100% honest about cannabis and always hold back. It cures cancer period.

He died from a heart attack likely triggered by an obvious heart problem and him not taking care to change his lifestyle. He was also killed by incompetent first responders that think someone can overdose on cannabis. lol At worst you could say there was a correlation, no way no how was it causation. lolSome niggas just shouldn't smoke. you always have a great way of insinuating i am stupid...
next time i'll add "... but you know how that went" to my post so that also you understand that i am fully aware that banning alcohol has not worked in the past and won't today or in the future and therefore the only logical consequence is legalizing weed.
better?Comment

Some are inclined to create victims via property theft. Take action against them.
So what's your point? Are you saying that it's rooted in nature that every individual who smokes crack, even once, will steal from others? What about a wealthy trust fund kid?
What about the people who've made a stupid decision and tried crack, realized it was a terrible experience and never do it again, but a cop caught them in the act? Do you support the state taking action against them?
If you make illegal, certain activities that *might* result in victims even if said victim is theirself, then you've created a legal precedent to create thousands upon thousands of laws. The type that say it's illegal to consume a 16oz sugary soda drink as they tried doing in NY.
The most logically consistent approach is one that's in line with the non-aggression principle (ie; no victim, no crime).Last edited by galleryseek; 04-04-2014, 05:44 AM.Comment

Agreed! Make no mistake when an activity is made illegal that *might* result in victims, it is not for our protection or "the greater good" it is for MONEY. These prisons are run by private companies and make a shit load of money on each and every prisoner. If someone who is hopped up on 'this or that' commits a crime that results in a victim (which is already punishable by the way) then they should be dealt with under the rules of the law.
