Some are inclined to create victims via property theft. Take action against them.
So what's your point? Are you saying that it's rooted in nature that every individual who smokes crack, even once, will steal from others? What about a wealthy trust fund kid?
What about the people who've made a stupid decision and tried crack, realized it was a terrible experience and never do it again, but a cop caught them in the act? Do you support the state taking action against them?
If you make illegal, certain activities that *might* result in victims even if said victim is theirself, then you've created a legal precedent to create thousands upon thousands of laws. The type that say it's illegal to consume a 16oz sugary soda drink as they tried doing in NY.
The most logically consistent approach is one that's in line with the non-aggression principle (ie; no victim, no crime).
